- Keeping key fobs away from doors and windows
- Using a Faraday pouch or signal‑blocking box
- Parking securely and using visible deterrents such as steering locks
- Ensuring home security lighting, CCTV or video doorbells are working
- Checking for manufacturer security updates or disabling keyless entry where possible
Residents are encouraged to report anything unusual to Police Scotland via 101, or 999 in an emergency.
