The playpark is now almost fully complete. Final signage, including the sponsorship board, has been installed. A few remaining items, sensory panels and a communication board, have been delayed but are expected in the coming months. With the main project finished, the fundraising subgroup is formally signing off and closing its Facebook page.
The playpark has been fully handed over to Moray Council, who now own and maintain it.
- Report vandalism: Contact Police Scotland if you witness vandalism.
- Report damage/overflowing bins: Use Moray Council’s Report It service.
- Community members should not contact the fundraising group about maintenance issues.
A small amount of funding remains and will be transferred to Moray Council to support new football goals.
The park has been extremely well‑used over the summer; families meeting, school trips visiting and large groups of children enjoying the park. The high level of community use shows the project’s success and lasting value. The group have thanked everyone who donated, sponsored, fundraised, volunteered, shared posts, attended events or supported the project in any way. They are proud of what has been achieved and hope the park will be enjoyed by generations to come.
