The story so far
In late 2022, the proprietors of Too Cute Baby Boutique (established in 2014 by Ashleigh & Gillian) realised there were families with infants and young children who were struggling financially to meet the needs of those children – so the Too Cute Baby Bank was born.
Unfortunately the facility became a victim of it’s own success, and they were struggling for both space and time to continue. In March 2025, we stepped in and with a team of volunteers, offered to take over the running of the baby bank, and helped to secure more suitable premises.
The group held their first meeting in April 2025. See: Meetings and Minutes – buckiecc.org. Following their first meeting, the group agreed to rebrand to Buckie & District Bairns Bank.
About the Bairns Bank
Buckie & District Bairns Bank provides free packages of clothing and other essential items like baby formula to families in need. Please never turn up unannounced to arrange a drop-off or collection.
How to get help
The group initially covered the Buckie Associated School Group (ASG), but in September 2025 they decided to open up to the whole of Moray on a trial basis.
If you or someone you know needs support, please get in touch with them on the contact details below. Proof of address will be needed. All requests are treated with respect and confidentiality. If you prefer, you can ask a professional (such as a midwife, health visitor or social worker) to make a referral on your behalf.
If you need to use the service more than once a month, a referral is required.
Volunteering
New volunteers are always welcome! Volunteers help with packing, sorting and handing out donations. The group have a rota and you can help as often as you want to.
How to donate
